On October 2nd, 2022, the song was first uploaded to WatZatSong by user fantastict, who claimed that they recorded it from the British radio station BBC Radio 1 in 1992.[1]
The song first gained attention in the Lostwave community on November 13th, 2022 when it was reuploaded by YouTube user Swiðr.[2]

- Pat Gallagher: Irish singer-songwriter and musician who is the lead singer of the folk rock band Goats Don't Shave.[3] Despite the fact that the OP does not believe the song was created by the band,[1] the singer's vocal style is similar to the lost song. Geoff Wallis, an author who specializes in Irish musical history,[4] was contacted and believes that Gallagher created the song.[5]
