Lostwaves are a music with unknown (for searchers) artists and/or other information, such as full (original, studio) version, confirmation of existence, or the appearance on the web.
The term derives from a portmanteau of Lost and a term often given to music subcategories, Wave (ie. New Wave, Synthwave). The term gained popularity in 2019 following the search for The Most Mysterious Song On The Internet.
