Poor Christmas (also known as Eyes of Love or Come On) is a mysterious song that was recorded from German radio in 1987, and was first uploaded to YouTube in November 2021.

Background

In 2002, René uploaded a 1:57 snippet of the song to his website DeDiniDevil.de. He claims to have recorded it off the radio in October 1987 and remembers the artist's name as The Face or The Faith.[1]

Between 2007 and 2009, spiritofradio.ca user René R (not to be confused with the OP) uploaded the song to the site three times in an attempt to identify it,[2][3][4] and he was the first person to upload it to YouTube on March 31st, 2015.[5]

On November 25th, 2021, the OP uploaded the full recording to YouTube, and adds that he possibly recorded the song from Radio ffn in Lower Saxony, Germany, or HR 3 in Hesse, Germany.[6]
