Without You is a solved lostwave by power-pop band The Wind-Ups, which was released on the 1995 compilation album Underground Music Series (Vol. 1 Disk 1)

On August 4, 2024, the song was first posted on r/lostwave by Reddit user Silly_Detail6127, who claimed that he obtained the song from a CD compilation album that he no longer owns, which he purchased possibly in North Jersey sometime in the late 80s or early 90s.[1]
On August 6, 2024, the song was identified as Without You by The Wind-Ups after two different owners of the CD Underground Music Series (Vol. 1 Disk 1) were contacted on Discogs and confirmed that it was the same song.[2][3]
The identity of the song was confirmed on August 12, 2024 after getting in contact with the lead singer Anthony D'Aulerio,[4] who proceeded to post a copy on his YouTube channel.[5]
