On May 1, 2022, the song was first posted to YouTube by user Alex Musica del Ayer, claiming that he recorded it from a cassette tape in Mexico[1] with a Walkman WM FX 290 and an Olympus WS-210 voice recorder (released in 2004[2] and 2007[3] respectively).[4]
On June 20, 2024, WatZatSong user julombie discovered that the song was a cover of Los Aragón's 1973 song Todo Ha Cambiado,[5][6] and was written by Jorge Ortega and Roberto López Gali.[7]
