Because the sample was uploaded the day after Halloween, and the lyrics match with the theme, it is widely thought that the song comes from a Halloween-themed movie, show, advertisement, or some other media. It could also come from a decoration.
The OP is known to be from France based on his previous WatZatSong submissions, and his username can be traced back to a Dailymotion<ref>https://www.dailymotion.com/argentanboy</ref> and YouTube<ref>https://www.youtube.com/@argentanboy</ref> account named argentanboy that posted WW2 videos about the history of Argentan, France, predating the upload of the song.<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/TensionInTheAir/comments/1dfm3c7/possibly_found_lorrains_real_name/</ref>

===Soundtrack Theory===
On July 23rd, 2024, the song was found in two different commercials for the BMW Z3 Roadster from 1996.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5ThBMM5H7g</ref><ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJA-d3MRkhg</ref>
On 2006, the user pianoman74 mentioned: "@what is for sure is that it must be from an 80s action flick.". Other user followed with "no clue - even if it sounds a bit like 'Danger Zone' from Top Gun. It's not - I know... but yes - typically 80ies."

Users quickly began to notice what sounds like a sound effect placed over the song near the end of the snippet. It is assumed here that LORRAIN possibly heard the song used as part of a soundtrack, be a movie, an edit or an ad, and stopped recording once the sound effect came in.
After searching the extended snippet's lyrics on the German music database GEMA,<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/TensionInTheAir/comments/1ecegoi/comment/lezzuxi/</ref> the original source of the snippet was discovered in a 1991 TV movie called Ausgetrickst, with the music credited to German film composer Michael Hofmann de Boer.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1pUYNJBn4E&t=5998s</ref><ref>https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101384/fullcredits/</ref><ref>[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Hofmann_de_Boer?useskin=vector https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Hofmann_de_Boer]</ref> Michael was discovered to have been a member of a band called The Subjects, and the band's song "Paradise" was originally thought to be the song.<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/TensionInTheAir/comments/1ea2jeq/comment/leiktst/</ref>

I placed the joker right on top of the bet

There’s no need to wonder, used to (guess I should dare?)

Where will I find it

A thousand miles from home

I'm approaching the altitude knowing that I'm on my own

So close, just one step to heaven

Don't hesitate

Just keep on course, you know

It's far too late

Wheels turnin'

Hearts burnin'

Taking off, flying into paradise

She's cheatin'

Heart's beatin'

Just try to make it right

Wheels turnin'

Hearts burnin'

Taking off, flying into paradise

Hmm, I'm takin' off tonight

Into paradise.

Still searchin'

You still pray

That they won't find you at the end of the day

Whoever gets the touch

Can we live without loving or feeling

It's just too much

The most common theory was that the song was from a war film or action movie similar to Top Gun based on the lyrics, the "plane" sound heard near the end, and LORRAIN's interest in war media.[17] It was assumed that LORRAIN possibly heard the song used as part of a soundtrack, be it a movie, an edit, or an ad, and stopped recording once the sound effect came in to capture the longest clear snippet free of dialogue and noise.[18]

Halloween/Ghost Theory[edit | edit source]

The song was uploaded the day after Halloween, so it was thought to be from a Halloween-themed movie, show, advertisement, or other media, possibly a decoration.[19]
