On July 27, 2013, the song was first uploaded to WatZatSong by user Guglielm,[1] before being reuploaded on May 13, 2014 to add that the song was internally tagged as Jenny - Jenny's Secret.[2] Based on the OP's other found songs, this song was most likely recorded between 1991 and 1992, and recorded from the WFMU New Jersey radio station.[3]
The song is built around various samples, including It's A Shame (1970) by The Spinners for the guitar intro,[4] Take It On Back (1945) by Cozy Cole's All Stars for the saxophone solo,[5] and a bongo sound effect, which was first used in Funky Punany (1991) by Sly Dunbar.[6][7]
