Kto Tu Jest Niewinny (also known as "Who's Innocent Here" in English) is a solved lostwave recorded from magnetic tape in the 1980s, most likely in 1986.

Background[edit | edit source]

On August 6th, 2021, Reddit user Adipat69 posted on r/namethatsong asking about an unknown song he discovered on an old magnetic tape recording he bought at a flea market[1] from a seller who claimed it was blank.[2] The tape includes snippets of songs from the mid-1960s to the late 1990s.[3][4]

On May 16th, 2023, the song gained notoriety in the lostwave community after it was posted on r/lostwave by user Sonilink2001.[5]

According to an email from the Polskie Radio Archives, the song was sung by Małgorzata Panecka, composed by Winicjusz Chróst, and written by Wojciech Jagielski. The ZAiKS Society Of Authors Polish songwriters database also credits Chróst and Jagielski with creating the song.[6] This fact was confirmed by Polskie Radio when they sent copyright information to Polish Lostwave discord server owner Shnert.

Right now, the server is patiently waiting for GAD Records to release the song on CD along with other songs sung by Małgorzata Panecka! (Info about it is on Polish Lostwave discord server!)
