|She’s inside all day
|She’s inside all day
She hides her face
She hides her face
Then comes to you from a place
Then comes to you from a place
Where no one knows
Where no one knows
She comes to you from
She comes to you from
Where no one knows
Where no one knows
When you least expect her touch
When you least expect her touch
You come, she goes
You come, she goes

She will turn your head
She will turn your head
Toward the darker side of your bed
Toward the darker side of your bed
She’s almost everything you want her to be
She’s almost everything you want her to be
She’s the perfect strange
She’s the perfect strange
An apparition eager to please
An apparition eager to please

She’s a rainbow in the moonlight
She’s a rainbow in the moonlight
She’s a rainbow for you at night
She’s a rainbow for you at night

She will disappear
She will disappear
When the morning comes
When the morning comes
She won’t be there
She won’t be there
And the sun will melt your memories of the night
And the sun will melt your memories of the night
And though you try to hold her tight
And though you try to hold her tight
She won’t be seen in direct light
She won’t be seen in direct light

She’s a rainbow in the moonlight
She’s a rainbow in the moonlight
She’s a rainbow for you at night
She’s a rainbow for you at night
