I Was a Fool In Love (also known as "I Was A Fool") is an unidentified new wave song uploaded to WatZatSong by user Guglielm.

Background

On July 12th, 2013, the song was first uploaded to WatZatSong by user Guglielm,[1] before being reuploaded on August 30th, 2014 to add that the song was internally tagged as In a Variety of Love, I Was a Fool.[2] Based on the OP's other found songs, this song was most likely recorded between 1980 and 1983, and recorded from the WFMU New Jersey radio station.[3]

The song was most likely written before December 1983, as WFMU's general manager, Ken Freedman, who joined WFMU in December 1983, was contacted and did not recognize the song.[2][4]
