Imagination Lives is an instrumental song likely created for the Sci-Fi Channel's 2003 advertising campaign of the same name.
Background
On January 26th, 2008, the song was first uploaded to YouTube by user KatePevensie, who recorded it in 2003 on the Sci-Fi Channel from an advertisement showcasing films scheduled to premiere in 2004.[1]
On December 2nd, 2008. the commercial featuring the song was first posted to YouTube in low quality by user Forevermore33.[2]
On December 12th, 2020, a high quality version of the commercial and song were included in a December 2003 Sci-Fi Channel commercial compilation uploaded by YouTube user Suprb6970.[3]
The song's vocals are sourced from a sample library, as two different songs, Wezale by Wes Madiko (1996)[4] and Spirit Zen by Phobos (2005),[5] use different versions of the same sample.
