That never left the ground

Started with a spark and then just fizzled out

We got enough of the right stuff

To rise above the clouds

So hold on tight ‘cause the way it’s looking now...

[Chorus]

This one's gonna fly high, I know it

Baby where we're going

The laws of gravity don't apply

This one's gonna fly like an eagle

Baby you and me will

Get to find out how it feels to touch the sky

This one's gonna fly, oh yeah

[Verse 2]

Wood and strings and patchwork wings

Sure didn't look like much

Sittin' in a field in the Carolina mud

Yeah, and we got doubters' feet on the ground

They're sayin' it can't be done

They're laughin' now but won't they all be stunned

[Chorus]

Cause this one's gonna fly high, I know it

Baby where we're going

The laws of gravity don't apply

This one's gonna fly like an eagle

Baby you and me will

Get to find out how it feels to touch the sky

This one's gonna fly, high, high

Oh, yeah

This one's gonna fly

[Outro]

This one's gonna fly like an eagle

Baby you and me will

Get to find out how it feels to touch the sky

This one's gonna fly like a rocket

Nothing's gonna stop it

Just sit back, buckle up

Enjoy the ride, 'cause this one's gonna fly (fly)

Oh yeah (fly)

This one's gonna fly (fly)

Yeah, this one's gonna fly (fly)

Fly
