Your Sacrifice, also known as the Most Mysterious Death Metal Song, Yeah, or You’re So Self-Absorbed is a unsolved lostwave that was recorded off of an underground radio station in Portland, Oregon in 1996.

History

In 1996, the song was recorded off of the KBOO radio station in Portland, Oregon via cassette. On December 1st, 2018, the user “Most Mysterious 90s” uploaded the song to YouTube, nicknaming the song “Yeah” or “The Most Mysterious Death Metal Song”. Afterwards, they posted it onto the r/Lostwave subreddit, asking what band it is.

Leads

A popular lead is that the song is by the non-underground grindcore band “Napalm Death”, but this lead has not been confirmed yet, and is extremely unlikely.

A more recent and likely lead is that the song was made by the band "Murdergod", an underground Portland Death Metal/Grindcore band that released an album in 1995 that sounds remarkably similar in sound to Your Sacrifice.
