Background

On December 18, 2023, the WatZatSong user pilo uploaded a snippet of a mysterious song.

On April 26, 2024, pilo uploaded the 1 minute and 6 seconds snippet to Vocaroo in response to an comment on the post by the user BASTARD. The OP, pilo, had provided details that he had recorded it off FM radio around the years of 2001 - 2002, and that it isn't recorded off a CD but a cassette tape.

Discovery

On May 25th, after pilo uploaded a new snippet of the song, MKiddie on the Fond My Mind Discord server identified the song as Drive Me (Dance Floor Remix) by the K-Girls, but was found to be the shortened radio version, starting the search for the 5 minute full version. On May 29th, the full version was ripped off of a CD and uploaded to archives.org, marking the end of the search.

The identity of the K-Girls also remains unknown, and there is no information of them on the internet.
