Still They Come (previously known as "And Still They Come") is a solved lostwave song by Australian duo Marco Mazzei and Denis Hansell, with Mazzei later forming a rock band called The Method Band. The song first appeared in a Vietnam War music video posted on YouTube in 2012.

Background[edit | edit source]

On March 4th, 2012, Youtube user blackadder73nz uploaded a compilation of footage from the Vietnam War titled "VIETNAM WAR MUSIC video HD and still they come" containing the unknown song, which he claimed was called "And Still They Come".[1]

The song became popular on August 2nd, 2020, when it was first reuploaded to YouTube,[2] WatZatSong,[3] and r/lostwave.[4]

Discovery[edit | edit source]

On May 5th, 2024, YouTube user Denis Hansell commented on the original upload, claiming that he played guitar on the song, that the vocalist and songwriter was an Australian musician named Marco Mazzei, that the song was recorded between 2007 and 2008, and that the OP was his brother-in-law, who requested the song for his video.[5]

Multiple Facebook posts from Marco Mazzei's band The Method later surfaced, listing a song titled Still They Come,[6][7] which was eventually confirmed to be the song on August 5th, 2024.[8][This section needs expansion]
