Background

On October 26th, 2020, the song was first posted to r/lostwave[1] and r/Kyrgyzstan[2] by Reddit user SuperJoe89, who claimed to have recorded the song from the Xinjiang Kyrgyz Radio in China.[1]

The song first gained attention in the lostwave community on September 23rd, 2021, when it was reuploaded by YouTube user Acu-Rite.[3]
