On August 4th, 2019, the song was first posted by a YouTube channel called Manis Studio,[1] a bot which posts Indonesian celebrity gossip videos with obscure, often completely unreleased songs written by Gary Miller as background music, sourced from a music database known as VHF Production Music.[2]

The song first gained attention in the Lostwave community on February 19th, 2024, when it was reuploaded by YouTube user twenty6600.[3]

In June 2024, it was discovered that the song was either an original demo or a cover of Sleazy Mo, a song by Azerbaijani musician Aysel Babayeva that was released in 2013 for the Milli Seçim Turu song competition,[4][5] which serves as the Eurovision Song Contest's national selection for Azerbaijan.[6]
