Nobody's Angel (also known as "Sucker") is an unidentified hard rock song that originated from a now deleted and unarchived Reddit post.
Background[edit | edit source]
On August 4, 2020, the song was most likely first posted to the r/tipofmytongue subreddit by an unknown, now-deleted Reddit user.[1] Evidence for this can be found in the metadata contained in a Vocaroo upload provided by WatZatSong user lazypoker from a reupload of the song the next day.[2][3] It states the exact title of the post and tagged the contributing artist as "EternalBlight", which could possibly be a lead.
The song was first noticed during or after August 2020, when it was reuploaded by YouTube user Hellster.[4][5] The user claims to have cut the song down to make his reupload render faster, and that his original source for the song was a r/tipofmytongue thread possibly created in 2020.[6] They do not believe that they cut an entire verse from the song,[7] but believes that there may have been a guitar solo after the second verse.[8]
The song first gained attention in the Lostwave community on January 24, 2021 when it was reuploaded by YouTube user Jay Kay.[9]
