Powerfull (also known as "Powerful") is an unsolved pop-rock song that was misattributed to George Harrison.

Background

On November 6, 2017, Reddit user helpmefindpowerfull posted to r/findthatsong, asking for help in locating a lost song attributed to George Harrison that he downloaded from a bootleg rarities collection off the Demonoid torrent tracker in 2004-2005, but his post received no responses.[1] Since Demonoid was founded in April 2003, the song had to be written around that date if this was the original source.[2]

In January 2021, Yazman, a friend of the original OP, posted the full song on YouTube and r/lostwave after rediscovering it on Soulseek.[3][4]

Leads

Possible

  • Imagine - Sound-A-Like: A bootleg version of John Lennon's Imagine, released on the "A Tribute To John Lennon" album in 2006 and credited only to Studio Group, has similar sounding vocals and was found in the same folder as Powerfull on Soulseek.[5]
