You Were Never Meant To Go

You Were Never Meant To Go is an unsolved lostwave. It was originally uploaded to YouTube in September 2012. OP claims that they “found it on a cd that was laying on the pavement one day back in 2005 all it said on the cd-r was ‘cinimatic music’”.

Background

On September 22, 2012, @spikethegoth89 (reuben jankowiak) uploaded a YouTube video of the song. The description read:

”i have no idea who this songs by i found it on a cd that was laying on the pavement one day back in 2005 all it said on the cd-r was "cinimatic music" so i can assume its from a movie i have googled the lyrics countless times but to no avail, the title is only an assumed one i have no idea when the cd was created or by whom... any information would be greatly appreciated.”

Another comment by the OP says that 9 out of 11 tracks on the CD are composed by a band called “The Cinematic Orchestra”, and that this track is the only one unidentified.

It was uploaded by q on August 14, 2022. A comment on her upload says that the singer sounds a lot like Reuben Jankowiak, the OP of the lostwave himself (who makes music on his YouTube channel), and that this may possibly be a hoax.
