Nobody Does It Like You Do (also known as Together Side By Side) is an unsolved lostwave originating from an Earthquake Survival Guide video produced by the Los Angeles television station KNBC in 1994.

Background[edit | edit source]

Nobody Does It Like You Do was used as the opening song for weatherman Fritz Coleman's hour-long Earthquake Survival Guide on KNBC in 1994, which was uploaded to YouTube on September 19th, 2014.[1] In 2022, a user named Jnthncrrll posted in the comment section of the video that the song was featured in several more news programs, and that it was first used in the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake coverage on KGO-TV 7.[2]

The search for the song started on August 15th, 2023, when WatZatSong user JJsolo uploaded it to the site.[3]

On July 8th, 2024, WatZatSong user pupdog2 posted a slightly extended version of the song to the site, claiming to have found it in the 1992 Hurricane Andrew aftermath footage for WTVJ-TV Channel 4 in Miami, Florida, but this has yet to be verified.[4]

Leads[edit | edit source]

  • Fritz Coleman: The host of the Earthquake Survival Guide, contacted but did not respond.[6]

Debunked[edit | edit source]

  • Cindy Fee - Nobody Does It Like You: Found in a Hoover Vacuum ad and it wasn't the same song.[7]
  • Carly Simon - Nobody Does It Better: Not the same song[8]

  • Jim Cosgrove - Nobody Does it Like You: Not the same song.[10]
