Background
On August 30th, 2014, the song was first uploaded to WatZatSong by user Guglielm, who states in his post that the song was internally tagged as In a Variety of Love, I Was a Fool.[1] Based on the OP's other found songs, this song was most likely recorded between 1980 and 1983, or 1991 and 1992, and recorded from the WFMU New Jersey radio station.[2] The song was most likely written before December 1983, as WFMU's general manager, Ken Freedman, who joined WFMU in December 1983, was contacted and did not recognize the song.[1][3]
