Keep Rockin' (Original Mix), also known by it's former placeholder name Do The Rocket, is a former mysterious hard house song that was made by the British electronic producer Fast Floor (Real name: Kevin Scales), for the label Hard Trax, on 2001. It was originally posted to Mixcloud by The user RememberTheDay90s2000s on 5th August, 2020, but who spread it's popularity outside of Mixcloud is SodaRev!, who posted it on WatZatSong, on 7th September, 2024.

Background[edit | edit source]

On 5th August, 2020, a Mixcloud user, named RememberTheDay90s2000s, posted a 1 hour long hard house mix on the website, with no track name listed, and no description available, which means every track was not listed, the mix gained Over +500 listens, which made it very successful.

4 years later, a user named SodaRev!, searched on Mixcloud hard house mixes and compilations, and found the mix, and the first song of the mix, which is this one, piqued his interest, but once he used Shazam on the first track, it led to false detections that are not the song, or sometimes didn't detect the song, the user later used AHA Music, but it also led to a false detection, so he knew what to do.

The song was posted to WatZatSong on 7th September, 2024, by the user SodaRev!.

Later on 10th September, 2024, the poster of the mix, RememberTheDay90s2000s, aknowledged Soda's post, and commented, saying the full track list, and when asked, they said that they ripped the song from a mix CD from a Japanese website called "Tower.jp", and revealed that the track is 5 minutes and 38 seconds long, despite them claiming they are the uploader of the mix, verification is still needed, SodaRev also asked if there's and upload of the song on YouTube, but still, no news.

Later on 13th September, 2024, a user on the Lostwave's Finest Wiki commented saying that they found a mashup containing the song on YouTube around 34 minutes, later on the same day, the user found a ZIP file containing audio of what is possibly advertising the Original Mix, and posted it to File.io, the ZIP file contained two audio files, one named Fast floor - a1 Keep Rockin' (Original Mix), which is a 2:27 clip of the original song that was taken from an unspecified sketchy website with malware In it, the second one is named Hardtrax17, and is a version of the song with a bunch of cuts, which is from a website called Unrec, that contained the vinyl of this song containing the Original Mix and the Fast Floor Re-Edit, but it was out of stock, the OP also replied saying that he also found the vinyl on a website called Hard To Find Records, but it was also out of stock.

The two users then theorized that this song is a version of the OG song made only for the mix, but what to do is wait until any updates are given.
