Red Onion (formerly known as "Words That Try To Resurface" or "Words That Try To Make Sense") is a solved lostwave song by the American alternative rock band Love Battery. It was originally posted in 2022 by YouTube user Most Mysterious 90s.

Background[edit | edit source]

On December 12th, 2022, a five-second snippet of the song was first uploaded to YouTube by user Most Mysterious 90s, who claimed that they recorded it in 1994 off the radio station KBOO 90.7FM in Portland, Oregon.[1]

The song first gained attention in the Lostwave community on January 22nd, 2023, after it was reuploaded by YouTube user q.[2]

Discovery[edit | edit source]

On October 24th, 2024, the song was identified as "Red Onion" by Love Battery after the OP remembered the song's title.[1][3]
