Posing (also known as "Paparazzi") is a hip-hop song by American rapper Wonder Brown uploaded to Reddit in 2020 by user Fiction1183.
Background
On April 25, 2020, the song was first uploaded to r/tipofmytongue by Reddit user Fiction1183, who claimed to have been sent the song by a friend who downloaded it from a song identification thread on an unidentified music-sharing website between 2010 and 2012.[1]
The song first gained attention in the lostwave community on September 23, 2021, when it was first reuploaded by YouTube user Acu-Rite.[2]
On November 7, 2022, YouTube user WhosThisEmGuy identified the song's sample as Charade (1963) by Henry Mancini.[3]
Discovery
On June 13, 2025, the song was found by Clifton on an old YouTube video posted by user Moostactical from June 27, 2011, labeled as "Wonder Brown - Posing".[4]
In the description of the video says that it came from an EP called "The Wake EP." However, the EP does not appear anywhere online without doing any extensive research about the EP.
