Paradise (also known as "In Paradise") is an unidentified funk song with multiple OPs that was originally uploaded to WatZatSong by user avignonfunk in 2017.
Background[edit | edit source]
On December 29th, 2017, the song was first uploaded to WatZatSong by user avignonfunk, linking to a 1:28 snippet called "SAMPLE MID TEMPO" on Mediafire.[1][2]
On February 12th, 2021, another WatZatSong user named 7belowsiffar uploaded a now-deleted and unarchived extended snippet of the song to Vocaroo, claiming that they remembered finding the song on YouTube, that it was on a 7" record with a red/orange/pink label, and that the song was possibly called "(In) Paradise."[1]
On June 1st, 2022, the song was uploaded to WatZatSong again by user Bluetree, this time providing a 30-second snippet of the first verse that was cut off in the original upload.[3]
On July 3rd, 2023, the song was first reuploaded to YouTube by user FatBird24, who spliced together avignonfunk and Bluetree's snippets to create an extended 1:57 version of the song.[4]
