On February 26, 2019, YouTube user dawson parker uploaded three videos named "Unknown Band, unknown song name"followed by a number[1][2][3] . Dawson says thy was given the audio by a Facebook user who was from a group thy were apart of.
On October 4, 2021, Reddit user Mr-Helper-Man shared links to the videos to the Lostwave subeditor, along with transcribing the lyrics with help from another user.[4]
