Background
On June 10, 2023, user Kenny Cathead (NY80sTapes) first uploaded the song to YouTube as part of a compilation of short snippets of various songs recorded from the radio.[1]
On June 17, 2023, WatZatSong user NY80sTapes posted the song and stated that it was recorded in 1982.[2] This song was most likely recorded from a New York or New Jersey radio station.[3]
Discovery
On January 28th, 2025, WatZatSong user hookedrago identified the song as "I Go So Low For You" by Beds after using the song recognition app Shazam on it.
