I See Ghosts is an identified post-punk song by the New Jersey based rock band Network that was originally posted to the New Wave Outpost forums by user Guglielm in 2012, then was reuploaded to WatZatSong in 2014 and tagged as Network - I See Ghosts.

Background

On August 23, 2012, the song was first posted to the New Wave Outpost forums by user Guglielm as part of a collection of lost songs, but it did not gain much traction.

On September 7, 2014, the song was first reuploaded to WatZatSong by user Guglielm in a now deleted post, stating that the song was internally tagged as Network - I See Ghosts. Based on the OP's other found songs, this song was most likely recorded between 1980 and 1984, and recorded from the WFMU New Jersey radio station.

Discovery

On August 4, 2024, it was discovered that a song by a band called Network had a song from 1982 called Soldier Of Fortune, which aired on February 16, 2006 on WFMU and had identical vocals and musical style to the lost song.

On April 2, 2025, the song was identified as "I See Ghosts" by Network after a band member named Richard Zoppo was contacted and proved that they created the song.^{[source needed]}
