On August 4, 2024, it was discovered that a song by a band called Network had a song from 1982 called Soldier Of Fortune, which aired on February 16, 2006 on WFMU and had identical vocals and musical style to the lost song.[4][5]

On April 2, 2025, the song was identified as "I See Ghosts" by Network after a band member named Richard Zoppo was contacted and proved that they created the song.[source needed]
