Presumed Lyrics |
(Verse 1)
People acting so strange Life is getting small change Hearts of paper-mâché They shatter at the touch (touch, touch, touch) Even you have left me Ooh, I want to know Where does that get me It gets me in the heart You're tearing it all apart Well, there's nothing on the TV There's nothing in the movies I feel so pessimistic when I fall in love Just stand there like a statue Fall back and I'll catch you Oh, what's the usе? You don't trust me at all (Chorus) Mandalay, now, what can I do In my dreams, I come running to you I want to hеar your voice in my brain I want to give you everything Mandalay, I come to your door When I just can't take anymore I find myself thinking about you, Mandalay (Verse 2) Living in the slow lane And slowly going insane Everything is the same Black and white and grey So cut through all the red tape I want to go find the perfect escape Thinking of today Do you think there'll be tomorrow And I remember romance And kissing at the slow dance Looking for the one chance When the signal is go (go, go, go, go) Any way you wind it Good luck if you find it Win or lose It still was a real good show (Chorus) Oh, Mandalay, now, what can I do In my dreams, I come running to you I want to hear your voice in my brain I want to give you everything Mandalay, I come to your door When I just can't take anymore I find myself thinking about you, Mandalay (Synth Solo) Oh, Mandalay, now, what can I do I want to hear your voice in my brain And I want to give you everything, everything Mandalay, now, what can I do Mandalay, now, what can I do Mandalay, now, what can I do |
