Paradise (previously known as "Walking In Paradise") is an identified gospel song by the Los Angeles based Christian rock band Jubal. It was recorded between 1991 and 1992 from the Brazilian radio station Imprensa Gospel FM, and was first uploaded in 2015 by YouTube user syrocke.

Background[edit | edit source]

On July 9, 2015, YouTube user syrocke first uploaded a low-quality version of the song, claiming to have recorded it between 1991 and 1992 from Imprensa Gospel FM,[1] a Brazilian Christian radio station founded by a church named Renascer em Cristo (Reborn in Christ).[2]

The song first gained attention in the Lostwave community on April 28, 2023, when it was reuploaded by YouTube user Jay Kay.[3]

On January 1, 2024, YouTube user "I used adblock to view this" uploaded a significantly higher-quality version of the song, explaining that someone who owns an unspecified website specializing in calypso music was contacted and had a partial higher-quality recording of the song.[4]

On February 15, 2025, Discord user randolurker identified the song as "Paradise" by Jubal after they found the song on Discogs.[5][6]
