Raspberry144mb's Gore Song is a controversial, hoax lostwave. According to Raspberry144mb, the song originated from a gore video on their father's computer. In May 2024, the song was revealed to be a hoax fabricated by the OP, who had played the bass track from Survivor by Knock Out through the Snapchat alien filter.
Background[edit | edit source]
In March 2020, Raspberry144mb posted the audio from an alleged gore video found on their deceased abusive father's laptop. Sound effects from this alleged video can be heard in the background. The song gained infamy in the community due to the disturbing context surrounding it. During the time the song was lost, the ethics of searching for the song were discussed as well as the possibility of the song being a hoax, with the supposed origin of the track being likened to a creepypasta.
Discovery and Hoax confirmation[edit | edit source]
In May of 2024, Raspberry144mb revealed that the song was actually the bass track from Survivor by Knock Out distorted by being played through the Snapchat alien filter. The sound effects were added as well, meaning that the gore video is completely fictitious. Additionally, the account that revealed this also claimed to be IntelligentBread5, OP of Lostwave August 2019, however this claim is debated by the community.
