Ronnie Urini is an Austrian music composer who claimed he collaborated with Christian Brandl from the band Chupze to create The Most Mysterious Song. Ronnie Urini's claim of authorship is contested within the community and while it cannot be debunked fully, it is not currently being investigated.
Authorship Claim[edit | edit source]
Ronnie Urini claimed that he wrote TMS in collaboration with Christian Brandl towards the end of 1983. This claim has been met with skepticism due to a lack of hard proof and inconsistencies in his narrative.
There is evidence that Brandl and Urini collaborated during the 1980s, such as registered works with GEMA (the German music copyright association), such as the song "Stadt von Glas und Stahl", which was registered in the early 1980s.
While this lead has been only debunked by circumsantial evidence, Urini is a controversial figure within TMS community for his ownership claim.
