I See Ghosts is a nearly solved post-punk song that was originally posted to the New Wave Outpost forums by user Guglielm in 2012, then was reuploaded to WatZatSong in 2014 and tagged as Network - I See Ghosts.

Background[edit | edit source]

On August 23rd, 2012, the song was first posted to the New Wave Outpost forums by user Guglielm as part of a collection of lost songs, but it did not gain much traction.[1]

On September 7th, 2014, the song was first reuploaded to WatZatSong by user Guglielm in a now deleted post, stating that the song was internally tagged as Network - I See Ghosts.[2] Based on the OP's other found songs, this song was most likely recorded between 1980 and 1984, and recorded from the WFMU New Jersey radio station.[3]

On August 4th, 2024, it was discovered that a song by a band called Network had a song from 1982 called Soldier Of Fortune, which aired on February 16th, 2006 on WFMU and had identical vocals and musical style to the lost song.[4][5]
