Stranger in the Corner is an unidentified synthpop song sourced from WatZatSong user NY80sTapes' collection of short radio snippets recorded in the early 1980s.

Background

On July 12th, 2023, WatZatSong user NY80sTapes posted the song as a 10-second snippet with no additional information.[1] Based on the OP's other found songs, this song was most likely recorded from a New York or New Jersey radio station between 1980 and 1986,[2] and it may have originally released between 1977 and 1985.[3]

On August 16th, 2023, WatZatSong user MistaEgg pointed out that another snippet posted by NY80sTapes sounds very similar to the song, and it is widely assumed that this snippet is part of the song or by the same band.[4]
