Background
Between July 7th and 8th, 2007, the user presveva posted an mp3 link to an unknown song in Google Groups. It got around 100 views. Someone suggested that presveva uploads it to WatZatSong.
July 8th, 2007, presveva uploaded two snippets to WatZatSong, deleting the first. The post was given barely any attention.
Discovery
On January 9, 2024, the user sveta and the OP, presveva, identified the song as "Funky" by Royal Treatment Plant. On February 22nd, Discord user octavia obtained the full EP from user artstorm who had in his mp3 collection.
