WatZatSong

WatZatSong is a website for users to post snippets of unknown or unidentified songs so the community may be able to identify them. Famous Lostwave tracks such as Everyone Knows That, Just A Game and Zoltan were first posted here.

History

While WatZatSong was originally proposed in 2005, the site wasn't fully operational until June 2006. In 2006, Tension Rising In The Air, one of the oldest Lostwave tracks, was posted to WatZatSong and in 2007, Funky (Dance for Hours a Day) was posted to the site.

On October 7th, Everyone Knows That was uploaded to WatZatSong by Carl92; it would go on to become the most popular snippet on the whole site, with 150,000 plays.

Discovery of Ulterior Motives and Site Crash

When Ulterior Motives was found on April 28th 2024, many rushed to WatZatSong to confirm the track or make fun of Carl92. This led to an increase of traffic that peaked around the time Christopher Saint Booth made a post about the song. WatZatSong subsequently shut down for an hour due to the demand.
